T.R.A.Y. aka Travell Rhymes and You blossums  on his latest released mixtape release. The some of his best work yet can be found on the Eminem styled track titled "iEM GOD" where he does the vocals of 4 different characters in one song. Review:
T.R.A.Y. is back with his 2nd official studio album. The artist became an underground rap sensation when he released songs like "Everyday is Valentines" & "My favorite Song" on last years award winning "T.R.A.Y. - So Midwest Hollywood LP." This time around Travell gets back to his roots with songs like "Self" and "Up and Away" where he lyrically conveys the current state of hip-hop and coping with the pressure of breaking into the industry. "Beautiful" and "Its Alright" are popular ballots for the ladies, and Rolling" is a try at a pop dance style. The album is defined by catchy hooks, smooth melodies, and clever thought provoking lyrics that are anything but typical. Several hip hop heavyweights have expressed interest in the MC's future recordings, instigating a buzz around his next release! (14 Songs)

Free Mixtape: T.R.A.Y. - Underrated Overlooked Vol: 1

Artist: T.R.A.Y.
Title: T.R.A.Y. - Underrated Overlooked Vol. 1 (UOV1)
DECODED:
Somewhere between an EP and an LP, the semi proper debut from this Cincinnati raised/LA transplanted MC is stacked with lyrics that don’t waste a word. With a B-Boy from the Bronx swagger that can’t help but add additional punch to his already hard-hitting delivery, T.R.A.Y. flushes out the tracks, compacting syllables and squeezing thoughts on top of each other, all while constantly maintaining focus on the concept and flow. The lyrics are honest, told from a fairly unique perspective, and filled with a strength that is often fueled by Travell’s determination. On “15 Minutes,” he laments the thinly veiled talent in hip hop from an artist’s perspective, and then takes it a step further on “Breathe.” In a hip-hop landscape filled with cookie-cutter MC’s, it’s always great to hear an artist whose main focus is to remain true to himself, and his fans.
